v0.4.0: Machines Removed


Recipes machines have been removed from the game! Recipes were fun, but it would have been overwhelming to create machines every time we added new crops. Machines were also very weak compared to crops, and buffing their points significantly didn't seem like the answer. Special Tiles will take their place for now, though recipes will return in some other form in the future!

  • Recipe machines no longer appear in the shop.
  • There will now always be 4 crops in the shop each roll.
  • Tutorial has been updated to reflect removal of machines.
  • Carrots bug fix - Carrots now correctly buff adjacent **crops by 5VP.
  • Horseradish now scores 5VP per unique crop a knight's move away. Adjacency penalty also removed. May be changed to "per Vegetable" when crop classes are added.
  • Pepper reworked! Now becomes an adjacent crop instead of spawning a new one. This is a huge nerf but lets other strategies become viable again. Pepper's original mechanic may return in some other form.
  • Cabbage will now grow squares with 0VP, -1VP, -2VP, ...etc. beyond 12 squares ( 1VP minimum rule removed).
  • Garlic now scores each adjacent piece only once.
  • Visual Bug fix: Cabbage point indicator now displays correctly at all times.
  • Visual Bug fix: Garlic now correctly displays the additional 10VP from being on fertile soil.
  • Visual Bug fix: Multi-square crops now correctly glow when on fertile soil in all cases.
  • Shop layout updated to appear consistent across devices.
  • Basic sound effects added for testing (toggle in settings).
